Studio Seed Weddings – Terms & Conditions
(Please note: by ‘we’ we mean Studio Seed, any member of our team, who are contracting to supply you with a service. By ‘you’ we mean the client, the person or persons who wish to pay for our services under the terms and conditions stated here)
Studio Seed reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions each time you use the website and your order and/or continued use of the website will signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
All orders placed with Studio Seed will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All prices are subject to change. Written quotations are valid for 60 days.
Supply of Information
Text should be typed clearly and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org . Please type in upper and lower case as required, regardless of your chosen typeface. Text not provided in this format may incur an administrative fee and may result in delays. We cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions, spelling or otherwise in the text supplied by the client so please be sure to check all text and spelling in proofs carefully. We will of course always check wording and typing very carefully but please bear in mind it is your responsibility to check proofs for printing. Amendments should be detailed clearly in writing via email with reference to the proof by the file name.
All artwork and designs are copyright of Studio Seed. Designs should not be reproduced or transmitted in any form without prior permission. The client is responsible for obtaining permission for printed reproduction of any images, photographs and text including hymns or songs. The client indemnifies Studio Seed against any action brought against it for breach of a third parties copyright.
You will be sent proofs via email in pdf format via email, and in most cases a hard copy proof will be mailed to you to approve before we go to print. Should any amendments be required, we will provide up to 2 further rounds of email proofs free of charge. We will then ask for a fee of £30 an hour for any additional changes you require. Amendments to proofs are intended in the main for spelling and grammatical purposes only. It is understood that the vast amount of design decisions will have been made and agreed upon at your consultation. Changes to the design at this stage should be minor and any larger changes may incur a further design fee. This is at our discretion. We ask that you respond to both mailed and/or hard copy proofs as soon as possible to enable us to meet your deadlines. We accept formal approval to go to print via email. Final proof reading is the responsibility of the client.
Orders cannot commence without a completed order form and a 50% deposit (of the full stationery suite) via BACS transfer through your bank or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Studio Seed. Once the
designs have been approved in writing we will require the final 50% of the balance before continuing with production.
Production and Deadlines
Stationery is made to order and lead times vary. The client will be advised of current lead times at the time of ordering. Rush orders are accepted at our discretion but will incur an additional fee. At the time of ordering you must make us aware of your deadlines. Wherever possible we will aim to deliver your stationery well in advance of your deadline.
Unless otherwise requested, Delivery is via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will need to be signed for upon receipt. Delivery costs are paid for by the client. We will take great care to ensure that your items are packaged as securely as possible. Whilst every care is taken to pack the order Studio Seed cannot be held liable for late delivery and loss or damage in transit. Responsibility for damage to or loss of goods shall pass to the customer at the time of accepting delivery. In the unlikely event that you believe goods are faulty due to an error on our part please contact us in writing no later than 5 working days after receipt of your stationery. We would then ask you to return the faulty stationery to us in its original packaging (the costs of which would be refunded to you should it be deemed that a mistake has been made on our part.) Refunds are issued at our discretion.
Orders cancelled after the hard copy proof has been dispatched will be charged at 50% of the order value. Orders cancelled after the hard copy proof has been approved and returned will be charged in full and the
balance is due immediately. Refunds are given at our discretion.
We reserve the right to use any stationery we create to promote our products and services. However, we will never use examples prior to the date of your wedding without your permission. We hope that you will be as proud as us to show off your stationery!
Any information given during the course of enquiring and ordering may be used to assist with administration and for future marketing initiatives that we think might be of interest to you. All details are kept confidential and will never be passed on to third parties.
Studio Seed will endeavor to supply the client as agreed but cannot be held liable for situations beyond it's control, for example, discontinued materials and postal disputes, Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond the control of Studio Seed.
